The Pervez Musharraf support network was established because we believe this was very much needed and was the right thing to do, to do our little part to stand by the man. The man who is no less than a one-man army himself, who has fought the forces of evil, darkness and corruption all through his life for serving and protecting the people of Pakistan whether it was in the midst of combats, at the Camp David talking to the President of the Super power of the World or simply by publicly announcing that he’d feel no shame to even beg for the help for Pakistan and his nation should it ever come to that. And we saw that after all that is being said and done, yet he proved himself time and again and always came through with flying colors.
Yes! It was LONG over due to acknowledge his outstanding service to the country. To assure him, that he was never alone; that there is a vast majority of people that silently and firmly stand behind him and that Pakistani nation is so much proud of him for his great service to the country and to the people of Pakistan during his tenure.
We are sorry to be so late to voice ourselves here but nonetheless sad truth remains that the silent majority of Pakistan- who has always been treated like herd of lambs by their very own political masters- has always been with Gen. Pervez Musharraf from the cores of their hearts.
And now perhaps time has come to break the silence.
The Silence of the lambs! if we may!!
Yes! He might have made few mistakes during his tenure, one may argue- till cows come home. But none of his mistakes harmed the nation and/ or the people of Pakistan. As it appears from the facts, he did what he deemed best for the country and it’s people so we think we can trust his judgements.
As a small network of friends, we also understand that we might not be any match or be as powerful as other so-called organized political and Media Mafia of Pakistan who has painted his face black with shameless lies but we as his supporters are willing to walk our talk and to be with the one who we believe is our nations’ one of the greatest benefactor i.e. Gen. Pervez Musharraf, if not more.
ھزاروں سال نرگس اپنی بے نوری پہ روتی ھے
بڑی مشکل سے ھوتا ھے چمن میں دیدہ ور پیدا
It’s our sincere hope that- at least for once in our lives and in the history of Pakistan as a nation, we will NOT be too late in giving this great son of Pakistan his due respect and recognition and that it will be done in his life time.
He has never asked for any reward from the nation. Having said that, it does not mean that we should forget him and put our concerns regrading him and his family’s well being on the back burners hoping every thing will be just fine on it’s own at the end of the day.
It’s our utmost hope, that the history will recall him as a man larger than life and not as Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi has said once:
عمر بھر اہل وطن سنگ زنی کرتے رہے
یہ الگ بات کہ دفناٰیں گے اعزاز کے ساتھ
(For my whole devoted life (to serve them) my fellow country men continued to stone me from every side. Still I hope that one day they will see the truth and then, would lay me to rest with the best of the honors.)
We invite and encourage all the fair-minded Pakistani people to join us on this blog/ website and to do the right thing in this just cause. You can help us by sending news/ videos/ interviews or simply by your write-ups.
God Bless you!

Dear A Khan
I do realize the state of affairs relating to politics in Pakistan. And if we do take a morsel of our valuable time and study the night we have slept away, (since 1947), every human in Pakistan is suffering the morning wake up. And it is being paid worse. I do appreciate your loyalty to one individual, but what about the millions, P M can be a nice person but leadership is a question mark. P M chose his inner circle, when he was in power with out analyzing the long-term results, you can stare through the co-workers of his team, how eligible and competent they were to damage Pakistan, the 25 technocrats were also just there to give an opinion to him in the substance which brought our Pakistan to the edge of fall. I do like P M, and believe me in 2003 I did write a letter for him, and tried to deliver to him, but that was complicated because of bureaucracy of ours, which could facilitate him to formulate some better decisions for Pakistan; and I still believe it can be accomplished, but he has to choose the new, fresh and right direction to build up the damages, and Pakistan. Choosing that is a hard reality, some time choosing different paths need scarifying moves, I do like your comments, Pakistan needs people like you with arctic psyche. I hope you and I can communicate for the benefit of Pakistan.
Have a great day ahead.

Malik Sahib,
Thanks for taking the time to express what you truly feel and for your kind comments. Please note my admiration to the President Musharraf as a leader is solely based on the merits.
Merits that I came to realize after being student of Pakistan’s political history throughout my life.
You talked about loyalty to millions vs an individual. I understand what you are trying to say but with a bleeding heart I beg to differ.
You and I know better than that.
You and I know it all too well and for a fact that there has been so many times in our history when we as a nation of “millions” have miserably failed to stand up and to do the right thing during the Elections since 1947.
Now without going into the know-hows and tentatively speaking, we are reaping what we sow for decades after decades. We have no one else to blame but ourselves for digging the deep hole we are in today. It’s sad. Really sad.
It’s like Ghalib has said:
قرض کی پیتے تھے مے لیکن سمجھتے تھے کہ ہاں
رنگ لائے گی ہماری فاقہ مستی ایک دن
Quite frankly, I can’t speak for ُPresident Musharraf about how he will go about it after and if he comes back to serve the nation once again.
But following him and his foot prints closely for all these years please allow me to say one thing: he is not a man who’d make same mistake twice and if there is anyone who can make things happen for Pakistan and people of Pakistan; it’s only President Musharraf. And no one else.
Let’s not kid ourselves by trying the same old politicians again and again.
There is still light at the end of the tunnel. Let’s hope it’s not the same old train.
Isn’t it enough yet??

Dear Malik Sahib,
Firstly i would request your permission to comment on your message for Mr. Khan. In no way do i intend to to answer on his behalf or on behalf of Mr.Pervez Musharraf. This is my personal opinion as an educated citizen of Pakistan residing in Pakistan and personally witnessing the turmoil here.
P M is an Pakistani who appreciates People who are Pakistani’s rather than those who claim to be Pakistani. One question has always motivated me, Do i need to be a person of Good Character to be a Good leader or do i need to be a leader to be a good Person. What motivates me is that Yes , i must continue to be a Good person, one day i might be a good leader, But if i try to become a good leader there are no assurances of me being a good person. As for millions of people in Pakistan who are suffering at the hands of under hands, i feel so sorry for them, These are the millions of People who require food shelter and clothing, What they need is important ,and what they have to contribute to the country is equally important. Pakistan is in a bad shape , its like a sick mother, the children are sick too , we have to stick together, otherwise we will lose one- being a put your self in a leaders shoe, what would you loose mother or child.. i know this is no option, but still. As for the establishment , it is consistent of people like you and me who have the legal signing authority to pass or refuse orders, we are the civil servant, Government and politician have no signing powers in the operation and adminsitration of the country , we have died, we have opted for ways , which are easy in short term and damaging in long term , we have forgotten how to manage our resources, we have opted satisfy our lives with paper rather than labour. we need people like your selves to stand up and support people like Khan sahib, P M sahib , people like me. It is we that make Pakistan, we are pakistan, good or bad, Please be a judge.
lastly please forgive me if i was rude, but i am not sorry if i have slit you feelings , this is the only way to a new and better Pakistan.

Dear Malik Sahib,
As I have said above:
So again, as you see, I do agree with you to a certain extent but then at the end of the day an important question remains unanswered; where do we go from here?
Should we dwell in past and stay stagnant in the history’s dock or should we get over this ‘hump’ and try to move on with some one with at least a better track record??
I’d like to quote Geo’s Hasan Nisar’s interview, commenting on President Musharraf’s resignation (http://www.pervezmusharraf.net/?p=125) –
this video was posted on Youtube by someone but unfortunately is no longer available.(Update: this video is availble now)In that interview, responding to a question about his opinion of President Musharraf, Mr. Nisar very eloquently said the following,
I rest my case.

Why do we still argue about who is right and who is wrong, we are not judges, the day of judgement is not dependant upon us , YES but we are responsible for our own deeds, Our personal day of judgement is dependant on what we do today, by crying and complaining we give room to our own weaknessess , which are discounted by forces which do not want Pakistan. United we stand , Divided we fall, Give respect to get respect , Give liberty to get liberty, wipe my tears so that some day i wipe yours, BUT for heavens sake stop complaining.
4th of September , i am arranging a one day special Prayer for the Safety , security and rivival of Our Pakistan. Its not about Christians , muslims , hindus, parsi , The war is on Pakistan , for Pakistan.

Dear All,
I would agree to disagree with some of your comments. I admit that Mosharraf was less corrupt then the current political system in Pakistan however he is directly responsible for the grieviences of many Pakistanis. Iranian nation & Iranian leadership today face the American pressure like a brave nation but when Musharraf recieved a simple call from USA to help them out fight in Afghanistan so he not asking the will of entire nation said yes to the Americans. Now today the whole of Pakistan is burning because of his personal decision. He helped organize MMA type of religious flatform of religious parties to simply support his government & these corrupt mullahs from MMA let the whole nation burn under terrorism. Since he was a military man so he thought the people fighting in Balochistan can be ruled out only then when their leadership is killed & he didnot visualize that in Balochistan there was an International game going which was further fueld by Mosharraf’s actions killing Bugti & others. He also gathered goons to run a government. I personally like for many reasons however my personal attachment to him does not justify the will & wish of entire nation. We welcome him come back however with a new, committed & dedicated vision.

Syed Waqar Bokhari Sahib, The Confidence you show in Musharraf, is nothing if we do not have the confidence in our selves, the only way he can come back is if we bring him, We have always choosen a simple way “election” , lets not choose this time, lets conduct an authentic survey , something that carries legal weight, something that justifies that Musharraf if a Public figure, this way, we will know what the majority wants, and then we can create a strategy to change the mind of many thru the mind of some.

Honorable Mr. Pervez Musharraf is a strategist, far more superior than the current Political System participants. The Characteristic of Adapting to Global Political Environment and mutating into a stronger species is something, only present is those who are willing. Pakistan is a Green Safe Haven for capitalist who want to replicate their exhausted economies, their consumers have consumed their resources, not realizing the true meaning of recycling, Mr. Musharraf can give what must and can take what is rightfully Pakistans….i.e. freedom and strenght to compete with the World New Order. The Important Question then remain who are the operators of the New World Order

Having born in Karachi two years after Dhaka fall and being brought up in a very literary familiy , before even reaching the age of ten, i got addicted to the newspaper for understanding and reading politics. As a child i saw Zulifiqar Bhutto and Zia ul Haq’s peak eras, then during adolesence saw a rigmarole of ten years between Bibi and Nawaz, i was convinced that there shall not be very bright future for this country- But Oct 12th, 99 gifted us a savior i.e ” Pervez Musharraf”. With two years of his time i could see vibrancy across every face of pakistani citizen , but yes except those 300 current days parliamenterians. He is a true savior and patriotic Pakistani. The only wrong that he did was that he did not act like Kamal Ata turk, which he should have . I just want to say that this country needs a leader like Mr Musharraf who understands sensitivities of both Army and civilian leaderships. I am sure that if we call in for an electronic plebesite either through CNN or BBC, ACROSS the world, Mr Musharraf will exceed the poll rates by atleast 1000% from the second runner- As such i man there is no one near to him who is liked as much as he is liked especially by the ages between 20–45 years- My dear President, please do not leave us beacause of few bad people. Sir, we need you- This country needs you. This army needs you. The children who are future of tomorrow need you- Please hold our hands and let us pass through the difficult times. Sir, believe me , deep inside everyones heart , you are loved like an icon of hope. Sir, We love you. May GOD bless you . Long live Musharraf and Pakistan- Ameen. Best Regards, Sami Aziz
